Full-text search over the indexed library, falling back to raw PDF/EPUB when the index is not enough. Automatic export to the agent (routed layer + dedicated MCP server), tested 17/17. Field-learned trap: ranking books by raw hit count makes doorstop novels beat the actual manuals — ranking is now by distinct-term coverage. /distill <topic> command.
